myHero - Logo Design
myHero is a high-efficiency First Aid Kit designed for sudden cardiac emergencies in the workplace—where every second can mean the difference between life and death. Thoughtfully engineered for ease of use, the kit enables immediate response without requiring medical expertise. It includes all essential equipment needed to stabilize a patient until professional medical help or an ambulance arrives.
The journey of idea explorations
The most important initial step is to understand the need. We studied the purpose of the product as well as the end user. This exclusive life saving First Aid Kit was named as myHero. Any good logo has to be minimal and self explanatory, so tried multiple options that resonate with the core purpose. The one we decided to go with was simple and expressive.
The first draft was a simple transformation of a PLUS sign, the global indicator of medical assistance. The horizontal strip was replaced with the band-aid tape with three dots. The vertical form of PLUS sign transformed to a smiling character holding the band-aid tape, ready to help you.
Now what was missing in the first draft?
myHero is mainly for the heart care and not just a common first aid.
So we moved back to the PLUS sign adding the smiling heart shape.
Heart shape has two distinct meanings Love and Heart. This place is about heart care and not the feelings.
Another important aspect that needs to be taken into consideration is the TIME, so adding the speed lines with a little tilt to the previous exploration gave it feel of urgency.
Here is another fresh attempt to consider the logo text equally important to be able to read it even from a distance. To convey the heart care we added the minimal shape of a hand holding the heart.
Finally we arrived with the minimal version with the text having strong emotional appeal to the accompanying visual form. Sometimes getting rid of the unnecessary details take you to the core.
